Ask any MTV fan who knows Tom Green, and you'll undoubtedly be met with hysterical laughter. Green, who had a hit run with his one man show on the Music Television, and a Number One music video, tentively titled "The Bum Bum Song" has recently found he also has a runaway success. However, there is more to Green than meets the eye. This man who will do almost anything for a laugh, (As proven during the Mouse-in-Mouth scene in last summer's comedy hit "Road Trip") has stared death in the eye, and laughed at it. After battling testicular cancer, Green made a quick recovery, regarded it as no more than a speed bump on the highway to success, and moved on. His tenacity and determination have proven him to be a Man of both perserverance and strength. During his hospital stay, Green brought television cameras right into the ICU unit with him, and turned what could have been a tragedy, into a source for unbridled humor! Green, who became engaged to actress Drew Barrymore last fall, has moved his antics from the small screen, to the big screen, not only in the above mentioned "Road Trip," but also in "Superstar," and "Charlie's Angels" in which he co-stars with Barrymore. "She is the source of my strength," He admits in a rare moment of serious candor. 2001 promises to be a banner year for Green, who will star in the film "Stealing Sanford," as well as a project which he also co-wrote with partner Derek Harvie, titled "Freddy Got Fingered." There may also be a wedding in the works, but he's not saying much about that. "I don't know. Who know. We'll see." And we'll see you in 2001 Mr. Green!
